Mark

Mark is a freelance instructor, qualified to lead groups in rock climbing, abseiling, mountain walking and biking, road-cycling and archery. He is also a keen cylist and a member of Clitheroe Cycling Club.
From a young age, Mark has had a passion for the outdoors and is delighted that he can share his enthusiasm for outdoor pursuits with people from all walks of life. To own a shop that he has long been a customer of, is the icing on the cake.

Claire

Co-owning an outdoor shop is something totally new for Claire, having enjoyed a career in the Health Service since graduating. Mark and Claire returned recently to the Ribble Valley, from Manchester, to raise their two girls.
Although Claire needs some persuasion to climb any sort of hill (be it on foot or bike), she caught the climbing bug a few years ago and has enjoyed climbing with Mark in this country and in the French Alps.

Iain

Iain has over 30 years hill and mountain experience, working for over 25 years in some of Europe's biggest gear shops before moving to the Ribble Valley 11 years ago for an improved quality of life.
An avid follower of the outdoor lifestyle, Iain has skied, walked, boarded, scrambled, surfed, travelled and biked throughout Europe.
Top Mountain Days include seeing a wild bear and cubs in the Picos D'Europa, surviving the chutes on Saulire in the Trois Vallees and sharing rum and butter toffees with his father on a snow capped Ingleborough aged 8.
