The Ogre jacket is cut for a slightly longer, roomier fit than many other comparable jackets, intended to maintain comfort and protection, without sacrificing performance in serious Scottish winter conditions. The helmet compatible stealth construction hood moves easily, with or without a helmet and its four-way movement gives an excellent range of visibility even when at full reach - especially good for climbers. The hood can be rolled down and secured at the collar.

With the new Stratum Storage System, the Mountain Equipment Ogre jacket has 25% extra storage including two large chest pockets and 1 A4 sized Napoleon pocket for storing maps, guide books, snacks and anything else you fancy. Just remember that with all jackets, "waterproof pockets" means that any water that gets into the pocket won't get through to your insulating layers, not that your phone will be safe in the map pocket while the rain is coming at you horizontally. The chest pockets are accessible even while wearing a rucksack.
