The Morpheus is Mountain Equipment's most popular year-round waterproof jacket that is lighter and more packable than many of Mountain Equipment's core jackets for less extreme conditions. The Morpheus uses the latest Gore-Tex Pro Shell technology to great effect and provides uncluttered functionality for mountaineers and hill walkers alike.

Anyone looking for a three layer Pro Shell jacket cut slightly shorter in the body than most of Mountain Equipment's waterproofs, or those interested in saving weight without sacrificing too many of the features found in their higher end jackets, should give the Mountain Equipment Morpheus jacket serious consideration.

Mountain Equipment's excellent Stealth mountain hood design means that the hood will move naturally with your head whilst providing first rate protection from the worst of weather conditions. The active cut with articulated and pre-shaped sleeves ensures that freedom of movement is not compromised.

The new features include Mountain Equipment's Stratum Storage system that provides two substantial chest pockets plus an even bigger A4 sized map pocket and new, Pro Shell Ascendor II fabric. The Morpheus achieves its low weight by stripping out any non-critical features. The zip is a reduced weight zip and there is no additional mesh pocket on the inside of the jacket. The Mountain Equipment Morpheus Jacket is "stripped down" to the bare essentials, which not only makes it the lightest Pro Shell jacket on the market but also the most affordable.
