Mountain Equipment have produced a new breed of lightweight expedition alpine jacket. The completely re-worked Tupilak 2 offers performance and simplicity for hard mountaineering.
The Tupilak 2 is designed with a narrower fit through the body, and is cut slightly higher under the arms to provide the neatest possible fit and excellent freedom of movement for athletic alpine, ice and mixed climbing.
The close fit in the torso means that the days of struggling to see foot placements, or the gear on your harness, past a ruff of material bulging from the top of your climbing harness or rucksack waist belt are over.
The new hood design, with high friction strips to grip a helmet, is an improvement to Mountain Equipment's already excellent hood design, ensuring that the hood will always move with your head and maintain clear vision without sacrificing protection from the elements.
